Aksy Console tools

Aksy comes with two console scripts, one to transfer files from the sampler, aksy-get, and one and to upload to the sampler, aksy-put.

aksy-get is the most efficient way to create complete backups from your sampler (but beware that it can take a long time if you've got large hard disks installed!). AksyFS can of course also be used to create backups, but both the FUSE as the FTP filesystem will much more disk space, because they cache the transferred files.

aksy-put is more than a simple file upload utility. It can create drum programs based on the files that are uploaded. Another feature is to upload a program and its referenced samples.

Use aksy-get -h or aksy-put -h to get an example of usage, and the available options.

Like all Aksy programs, aksy-get and aksy-put will use the configured sampler by default. See the chapter AksyConfiguration for more information.
